The Out-Takes of 2024

I’ve always thought it really important to try and convey what it actually ‘feels’ like to be at these weddings rather than just what it ‘looks’ like.  And shooting the reality of it all, rather than just a polished version has always been my way forward.   The wet fizz of Champagne spraying across a face,  a tug on the veil as somebody accidentally steps on it, the chatter and the clink of glasses during cocktail hour, the smell of sea air as guests go for a morning dip, being swallowed up on the dancefloor as the crowd erupts around you!   The in-between stuff is all valid and it all counts.  So keeping the out-takes in the galleries is something I’ll always do.   These things all bring it all to life!
