A Wedding in the South of France // Catherine + Adam

So some couples had to wait a little longer than others until they could hold the kinda wedding day that they wished for post-lockdowns, and looking back through my email I can see that Catherine + Adam first got in touch with me back in early 2019!  Moving on a few years and they now have their beautiful daughter Grace to complete their family unit.  This was my first destination wedding since the pandemic got in the way and it felt amazing to be back in Europe again, this time in the south of France at the wonderful venue that is Gites La Colombiere.  Ran by a small but fabulous team who were always on-hand to help things run smoothly, the weekend started with a barbecue and beers on the lawn.  Tbh I could have made a whole blog post about those previous days but thought I’d keep it simple and stick to their wedding day here.

As with the weather across Europe, nowt is guaranteed – and Catherine + Adam had a to make a last-minute call on the ceremony location (possible rain!) but they called it right and held their ceremony outside under cover of trees on the lawn with Michelle the celebrant doing a fantastic job for them.  And then it was onwards to the canopy of the stretch tent before heading inside for a top-class party!  Word to the DJ’s who called every song right and the party just kept upping in the energy levels throughout the night.

Big love to the lovely Catherine + Adam for allowing me to be a part of their wedding day – and their friends and family who also brought me into the fold.  Here’s a little of what I saw…

Venue = Gites La Colombiere //  Celebrant = Michelle Roberts  //

Wonderful stuff 🙂
